City Cat

    City Cat's review

    A feline endless roof jumper

    • Cute design
    • Easy and enterntaining
    • It may become repetitive

"Cats, UFOs and rainbows, that's how it should be"

At last Nevosoft has left its comfort zone (hidden object games, perhaps the best hidden object games on market) and embraces the adventure of exploring other genres. City Cat should be considered an endless platformer full of humor, easter eggs and cute and cool power-ups. In case you care, it's all about a cat looking for something to eat and chasing an UFO at the same time, likely because that flying saucer is leaving food behind it for unknown reasons.

As a newness, you can send jewels to your friends to boost their progress and participate in tournaments, though you have to link your game to your Facebook account in order to do so. Some power-ups change gameplay, for example the rocket allows movement by tilting the phone.

Long story made short, City Cat is a good casual game without any worries other than make you have a good time. Anyhow, don't get distracted by the landscape: a lot of things are happening there! While we wait for Nevosoft to use its know-how in other more sophisticated genres, this City Cat is fresh and enjoyable by all audiences.
